A graduate of biology (major in anthropology) at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, he has been working at the University School of Physical Education since 1988 in the Department of Anthropology and Biometry – since 1993 as an assistant professor, and since 2005 as an associate professor of the University. From 2005 to 2008 he was a vice-dean for student affairs and from 2008 to 2012 he was a vice-dean for education. He was a promoter of eight doctoral theses. A member of the Polish Anthropological Society. His interests focus on the study of the morphological factor in sport and physical education with a special emphasis on the role of body components.
